Meet Janae

Hi! I hope someday our paths cross, but until that day, here is a peek into my world.

 

I am most excited about helping people thrive in all that God has created them to be and do. I provide solutions that close the gap between where people are and where they want to be.

 

Over the past 30 years, I have helped people step into their God-given potential through various means: ministry positions, organized and spoken at retreats and conferences, written a Bible study and a few books, helped my husband start a nonprofit called Family Builders, began a devotional style Blog called God’s Word Gives Hope, and help launch the companion God's Word Gives Hope Podcast. 

 

In 2019, I took a position as a Leadership Coach for Chick-fil-A and fell in love with the one-on-one concentrated efforts to help others excel. In 2022, I launched my private coaching business, JSC Life & Leadership Coaching, LLC, ICF Certified.

 

Christ is my Center, and family is my backbone. My husband of 33 years makes me a better person. He is my collaborator, companion, compass, cheerleader, coach, and he would like to think comedian. We have two amazing adult children, Sydney and Silas. We now also have a bonus son and a bonus daughter.

We are from Sarasota, Florida, and currently reside in Cartersville, Georgia.

  • Graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. (1988)

  • Graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY with a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling. (1992)

  • Pastor of Adults at First Baptist Church, St. Petersburg, FL.

  • Women’s Ministry Director and then Weekend Coordinator and then Team Development Director at South Shore Community Church, Sarasota, FL. (1992-2018)

  • Leadership Coach, Chick-fil-A. (2019-2021)

  • Guest Experience Team Coordinator at Crosspoint City Church, Cartersville, GA. (2020-2022)

  • JSC Life and Leadership Coaching, LLC, ICF Certified Coach. (2022-present)
